Alexandra Oliveira
Alexandra Oliveira is an assistant professor at the University of Porto, Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, where she has been working as researcher and teacher. She completed her Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Porto, in 2008, with an ethnographic research with street sex workers. She is an expert on sex work and her research interests encompass issues related to gender, sexuality and social control. She won two honourable mentions in two awards with her academic work and she published three books (one co-authored) and several articles and chapters.
