Alexandria Carrico

Alexandria Carrico is a lecturer at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and has a doctorate in musicology from Florida State University. Her work on traditional Irish music and music and neurodiversity appears in Voices: A World Forum for Music Therapy. Her secondary research area focuses on the intersections of race, gender and social justice in American opera as explored in her recent article published in Folk Life: Journal of Ethnology.
