Alexis Powell
Alexis Powell, MA, LCAT, RDT, is a registered drama therapist and a licensed creative arts therapist. Powell maintains a private practice in New York City offering creative arts therapy for individuals, families and groups with a focus on LGBTQIA+ populations. Powell is a frequent guest lecturer in the program for drama therapy at New York University on the topic of cross-cultural humility in creative arts therapy and has published research on exploring intersectionality through embodiment.
