Alfonso Venturini

Alfonso Venturini is a Ph.D. fellow in contemporary history at the University of Florence, and is mainly interested in the relationship between cinema and history, particularly during the fascist period. He is the author of articles published in Mondo Contemporaneo, L’Avventura. International Journal of Italian Film and Media Landscapes and Schermi. Storie e culture del cinema e dei media in Italia, and of chapters in edited books and biographical entries (Dizionario Biografico degli Italiani [Treccani, 2012]). In 2015, he published the monograph La politica cinematografica del regime fascista (Carocci, 2015).
