Alice Hill-Woods

Alice Hill-Woods is an AHRC-funded researcher at the University of Bristol (SWWDTP), where she is looking at ecologies of crisis in narratives of health and illness. She holds an MA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Glasgow, a Wellcome-funded MA in Medical History and Humanities from the University of York and an MLitt in Art Writing from the Glasgow School of Art. Her academic research has been published by the Journal of Literature and Trauma Studies, and her poetry pamphlet, HOTHOUSE, was published by Salò Press in 2021. She co-edited This is not a biography* with Laura Haynes and Kate Timney (Yellow Paper Press 2023). Her critical and creative writing has been published widely in print and online and has been broadcast on Clyde Built Radio and Systems Radio.
