Alice Theobald
Alice Theobald studied English language and literature at Oxford University (BA Hons.) where her dissertation focused on modernism in literature and the visual arts. She subsequently began working in the art world, building on experience at London’s auction houses in the Photographs and Modern British Departments. She was previously Editor of The Bluestocking journal, which explores the intellectual and cultural achievements of women across history. She has also contributed to Oxford University’s Art History journal, Oculus, and to Art UK. Having worked at Frieze Masters, her ongoing research focuses on European art of the twentieth century.
