Alice Thickett

Alice Thickett has recently completed a Masters in visual culture at Manchester School of Art. As a writer, Alice has an interest in Dada, collage, philosophy and science and has recently taken an interest in practice as research. Working as a freelance artist, Alice uses the medium of photo-collage under the name of Keith Bloody Mary, using analogue processes and physical source materials to cut and paste together humorous and surreal artworks. Keith Bloody Mary’s most recent artwork relates to the Anthropocene. Titled the same as the article ‘Unfashioned creatures’ Keith Bloody Mary creates part human, part object, part nature monsters that have formed after the extinction of humans and robots, leaving the viewer to question their world’s future.
