ALYSON CAMPBELL
Alyson Campbell is a theatre practitioner and academic. She is a lecturer in theatre studies at Brunel University London. Her research interests are dramaturgy and directing, gender and queer theory and performance, HIV/AIDS and performance, and contemporary theatre and theory. Recent practice includes directing the UK premiere of Sydney playwright Lachlan Philpott's Bison for OUTburst, Belfast's Queer Arts Festival and the Oval House Theatre, London. Alyson established the Queer at Queen's research and performance programme at Queen's University Belfast, which is part of the OUTburst festival. She is co-founder of wreckedallprods, a performance collective based in Melbourne to explore queer performance in practice.
