Amanda Konkle
Amanda Konkle, Ph.D., is an associate professor of film studies and literature at Georgia Southern University in Savannah, Georgia. She is the author of Some Kind of Mirror: Creating Marilyn Monroe (Rutgers University Press, 2019) and the forthcoming article ‘Marilyn Monroe’ in Oxford Bibliographies in Cinema and Media Studies (Oxford University Press). Konkle is also the co-editor of the collection Perspectives on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend: Nuanced Postnetwork Television (Syracuse University Press, 2021, with Charles Burnetts). In addition, Konkle has published articles in the Quarterly Review of Film and Video and Feminist Encounters. Konkle serves on the board of the Flannery O’Connor Childhood Home in Savannah, Georgia and as the president of the Literature/Film Association.
