Amit Kundu
Dr. Amit Kundu is presently associate professor, Department of Management, North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, Meghalaya where he has been since 11 October 2023. From May 2018 to October 2023, he served as professor and dean at the Schools of Management, Techno India Group. He was also shouldered as dean of the School of Business, Sister Nivedita University (Under Techno India Group), from August 2022 to October 2023. He was appointed as convener of the Ph.D programme of Sister Nivedita University from its inception (2019) and he has discharged the duties of the Ph.D convener till the end of his tenure at Techno India Group. He served as HoD, School of Management, Techno Main, Salt Lake from 2006 to 2018. He worked at Consulting Engineering Services (India) Private Limited in New Delhi, in the capacity of business development executive from 2001 to 2003 and also associated with them from 2007 to 2012 as consultant – market analyst and planner. He received his B.Tech from Jadavpur University in 1999, and MBA from IIEST, Shibpur, Howrah in 2001. He received his Ph.D. in business management from the University of Calcutta. His research interests span in the areas of marketing management, strategic management and entrepreneurship development. Five scholars have been awarded a Ph.D under his sole and co-supervision from the University of Calcutta, Jadavpur University and Sister Nivedita University. Amit has made over sixty scholarly contributions, including nearly fourty peer-reviewed research papers. He has presented more than a hundred research papers both in India and abroad. He received an outstanding research award in 2013 for his scholarly research work in USA. He has given numerous talks and tutorials, and acts as a visiting professor at esteemed business schools such as ASCI (Hyderabad), IIFT (Kolkata), IISWBM (Kolkata), Department of Business Management, University of Calcutta.
