Amrani Jai
Dr Amrani Jai is a professor of English literature at the Polydisciplinary Faculty of Nador, Mohamed 1 University. She got a BA degree in cultural studies in 2009 from USMBA, Fes. Two years later, she received her MA degree in applied language studies and research in higher education from the same University. In 2011, she had some pedagogical training that allowed her to be an EFL teacher. She got a doctorate degree in 2020; her doctoral research deals with the issue of Moroccan female prisoners and their empowerment through prison theatre. Her interests are multiple, including media and cultural studies, applied linguistics, applied theatre, women’s empowerment and translation.
