Amy J. Morgan
Amy Morgan is a C.R. Roper Fellow and senior research fellow in the Centre for Mental Health, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health at The University of Melbourne, Australia. Her research focuses on developing and evaluating evidence-based interventions to improve mental health literacy, reduce stigma and prevent anxiety, depression and suicide. She has led projects reviewing what works to reduce stigma towards people with severe mental illness in Australia and internationally, conducted national surveys on the experience of discrimination relating to mental illness from health professionals, friends and family, and contributed to projects evaluating how media reporting of mental illness impacts upon stigmatizing attitudes.
