Amy M. Froide
Amy Froide is professor of history at University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) where she teaches early modern British and women’s history. She is the author of Never Married: Singlewomen in Early Modern England (Oxford University Press, 2005) and Silent Partners: Women as Public Investors during Britain’s Financial Revolution, 1690-1750 (Oxford University Press, 2018). She is currently working on a book on a financial scandal in early eighteenth-century London.
