Amy Pojar

Amy Pojar is currently a senior analyst at the Student Affairs Information and Research Office (SAIRO) and previously worked in international higher education for over a decade. She is the co-author of ‘US Social justice spaces and global justice: Integrating international students for the engagement of all’ (Journal of Comparative & International Higher Education, 2021). Her research interests include global citizenship education, internationalization of US campuses, as well as equity-minded and asset-based approaches to international and domestic student research in the United States in areas such as language experiences, financial wellness, mental health, integration, cross-cultural learning, campus climate, career planning and experiences during the global pandemic. Amy is a Ph.D. candidate and holds an MA in social sciences and comparative education from the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies at UCLA.
