Amy Voris is a dance-maker based in Manchester. Her practice is processoriented and collaborative, driven by the desire to develop relationships with people and with movement material over long stretches of time. In addition to her studio practice, Amy has a long-standing teaching practice and is currently lecturing part-time at the University of Central Lancashire. In 2012, she completed training in Integrative Bodywork and Movement Therapy with Linda Hartley, an approach to the body that underpins her holistic and enquiring approach to making movement. Her doctoral research (at the University of Chichester) is exploring the relationship between dance-making and Authentic Movement (www.amyvoris.com).
