Anastasia Grusha

Anastasia Grusha is associate professor in the Faculty of Journalism at Lomonosov Moscow State University. She is also director of the Italian–Russian Center for Research on Communication, Media and Culture and vice-chair of the Communication in Post- and Neo-Authoritarian Societies Working Group of the IAMCR. Her research interests are in the fields of political communication, media in election campaigns, international communication, Russian–Italian relations and image of the country in foreign media. She has published articles in Theoretical and Practical Issues of Journalism, Medialmanah and Vestnik Moskovskogo universiteta: Seriya 10 – Zhurnalistika. She also has contributed to the volumes Dayton dieci anni dopo: Guerra e pace nella ex Jugoslavia (Carocci, 2007) (edited by F. Guida ed.) and Mass Media in Transition: An International Compendium (Atiner, 2004) (edited by Y. Pasadeos). She has published the chapter ‘Italija’ (‘Италия’) in the textbook Massmedia i izbiratel’nyj process v zarubezhnyh stranah (Массмедиа и избирательный процесс в зарубежных странах) (Fakultet zhurnalistiki MGU, 2022). She is currently working on the textbook Stranovedenie i medialandshaft Italii (Страноведение и медиаландшафт Италии) (Fakultet zhurnalistiki MGU, 2023).
