André Epp

Dr André Epp studied at the University of Göttingen and received an MA in education science and music science. He received his doctorate in education science at the University of Hildesheim and had participated in a variety of research projects, such as ‘With Effect! Sustainability in Youth Work’. Currently he is employed as a research assistant at the Institute for Research Methods in Educational Science at the University of Education Karlsruhe. He is also working towards his habilitation treatise. Research focuses on qualitative research and its theoretical principles, biographical research, professions and teacher education research, beliefs and everyday theories, transitions in the education system and social inequality, informal and non-formal learning, cultural education and popular music.
