Andrea Olsen
Andrea is a professor of dance and has held the John Elder Professorship in Environmental Studies at Middlebury College, in Middlebury, Vermont, over the past three decades. She currently teaches at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, CA, bringing embodiment into advanced courses on global communication. She is the author of a triad of books on the body: The Place of Dance, Body and Earth and Bodystories with Caryn McHose. Andrea performs and teaches internationally. She was a Fulbright Senior Scholar in New Zealand in 2003, offers annual Body and Earth Training Programs in the United States and abroad, and developed the Body and Earth: Seven Web-Based Somatic Excursions film project with Scotty Hardwig and Caryn McHose in 2015.
