Andrea Peach

Dr Andrea Peach is a professor of craft history and theory at Konstfack University College of Art, Craft and Design in Stockholm, Sweden. She has a Ph.D. in craft history and an MA in design history from the Royal College of Art in London. She previously taught contextual and critical studies at Gray’s School of Art, Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. Her research interests focus mainly on craft as commodity and cultural industry, as well as the construction of national and cultural identity through the craft object. She has published in the Journal of Modern Craft, the Journal of Design History, Craft Research, and has a chapter in Craft Entrepreneurship (London: Rowman and Littlefield International, forthcoming 2020), edited by K. Patel and A. Naudin.
