Andrey Miroshnichenko

Andrey Miroshnichenko is a media scholar and a journalist with twenty years in the print media. He is the author of Human as Media. The Emancipation of Authorship (2014) and a number of books on media and politics. He has a degree in journalism and linguistics with a dissertation focused on the semantics of the Soviet media and propaganda (1996). Currently he is a Ph.D. candidate in communication and culture at York University, Toronto. He is also a Fulbright-Kennan scholar (2012–13) and a coordinator for the Russian Association of Futurologists. He runs the blog Human as Media (human-as-media.com). Twitter: @Andrey4Mir
