Andy Salmon

After leaving the University of Liverpool in 1988 with a British Academy Ph.D. in modernist literature, Andy joined the Fulbright Programme (1996, 2001), globalized this experience leading a large School of Creative Arts in Norwich. In 2009, he became deputy dean for partnerships and enterprise in the Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences at Anglia Ruskin University, where he developed a network of international partners, and established a Northern European applied digital creative incubation network, which involved partnerships with SONY, Jagex and ARM, and launched Brains Eden, the European Union’s largest live student games jam. In September 2017, he joined Bath Spa University where he is now pro vice chancellor, external relations community, as well as the significant potential of the region in all manner of creative practice and research. He is a member of the boards of Kommedia and the Bath Festival Advisory board, and is currently a tutor on the NCEE Entrepreneurial Leaders programme.
