Angela Ross

Dr Angela Ross is the impact lead for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s (ABC) regional and local division. In 2022, she completed her Ph.D. at the University of Tasmania, Australia, examining how regional audiences use different media to engage in civic life, under a Research Training Programme scholarship. Prior to her current position, she worked as a television news presenter and multi-platform journalist at the ABC. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at Charles Sturt University, Australia, in 2000 and achieved first class honours in 2017 in the Bachelor of Arts at the University of Tasmania, Australia. Angela was awarded the Murray Todd Prize for the greatest proficiency in the course social sciences.
