Anna Birgitte Milford
Anna Birgitte Milford, Ph.D., is an economist with a Ph.D. from the Norwegian School of Economics who works as a researcher at the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO) in the Department of Economy and Society. Her main research interest is environmental sustainability in food systems, with a focus on motivations and structural constraints in both food production, consumption and supply chain. Her work concerns organic and Fairtrade labels, pesticide reduced food production, local food supply chains and climate friendly diets. In her work she uses both qualitative and quantitative methods.
