Anna Sendra has a Ph.D. in anthropology and communication, a master’s degree in strategic communication and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain). She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Tampere University (Finland), where she is working on the project Struggling with Ignorance: Negative Expertise and the Erosion of the Finnish Information Society at the Turn of 2020 (NEGATE). She is particularly interested in the study of digital health, and her work mainly focuses on analysing health communication processes in social media from different perspectives and specifically at the level of interpersonal communication. Dr. Sendra also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Communication of the University of Ottawa (Canada).
