Anna Spiegel

Anna Spiegel, Dr. phil., is a postdoctoral research associate in the Faculty of Sociology of Bielefeld University. She has conducted research on precarious transnational migration in Latin America, transnational civil society in South-East Asia and the transnational elite lifeworlds of corporate expatriates. Her current research interests include work-related migration, cosmopolitanism, belonging and qualitative methods. Her latest publications include Expatriate Managers: The Paradoxes of Living and Working Abroad (together with Ursula Mense-Petermann and Bastian Bredenkötter; Routledge, 2018).
