Anna Xymena Tissot
Anna Xymena Tissot (née Wieczorek) is a sociologist who studied at the Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany and at Newcastle University in England. She then obtained her Ph.D. within the International Research Training Group ‘Diversity: Mediating Difference in Transcultural Spaces’ at the University of Trier in Germany, in collaboration with the Université de Montréal in Canada. She has worked on several research projects in the fields of migration and integration studies, transnational and mobility studies, as well as cultural and diversity studies on topics such as homeless migrants and migrants’ mobility patterns and, currently, on the integration of refugees.
