Anthi Argyriou
Anthi Argyriou is a Ph.D. researcher at the University of Amsterdam (ASCA-Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis), where she has also taught at the BA of literary and cultural analysis (2019–20). The working title of her research project is ‘Mediterranean drifts: Mobility and migration in (speculative) fiction-based contemporary art’ and focuses on emerging modes of representation of migrant subjects, borderscapes and mobility patterns in recent multimedia artistic projects. She has been awarded a doctoral studies scholarship from NEON Organization for Culture and Development while her Ph.D. project is currently supported by an A. G. Leventis Foundation Educational Grant. She has organized and curated exhibitions in various art spaces and visual arts festivals and has participated in the planning and coordination of museum education programs, academic conferences and workshops.
