Antonis Kourkoulakos

Antonis Kourkoulakos holds a Ph.D. in the archaeology of Asia minor from the Institute of Ancient Near Eastern Studies and near eastern archaeology (University of Münster). During his Ph.D. he was a member of the Münster School of Ancient Cultures. His research has been supported by Luwian Studies (Switzerland), DAAD (Germany) and the Dutch Institute for the Near East (NINO). He finished his BA studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in history and archaeology (major archaeology and history of art) and he continued with his ResMA studies at Leiden University in Classics and Ancient Civilizations (track Assyriology). Currently, he works at the University of Tilburg at the Academic Services of the university. His research interests include the study of the cultural interactions in Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age in western Anatolia and east Aegean and the reception of antiquity in modern times.
