Aparna Nayak

Aparna Nayak is professor of French at California State University, Long Beach. Her research interests centre on the inter-relations between history, memory, politics, space and representation in the inter-war and post-Second World War period as well as in contemporary Francophone literatures. Her articles have appeared in journals such as French Forum, The French Review and SITES Contemporary French & Francophone Studies, as well as book chapters in Paris and the Marginalized Author: Treachery, Alienation, Queerness and Exile (eds V. Orlando and P. Pears) and in Les Espaces intimes féminins dans la littérature maghrébine d’expression française (eds F. Saquer-Sabin and R. Elbaz).
