Ara Kebapcioglu
Born in 1950 in Istanbul, Turkey, A. K. specialised in ancient lighting as a restorer and as a collector and researcher from the mid 1970s. He has been working in Paris for the last 4 decades and owns besides his workshop a private museum and an extensive collection of functioning lighting devices from the period 1775–1925 as well as a library about the lighting techniques of same period.
