Armelle Blin-Rolland
Armelle Blin-Rolland is a lecturer in French and francophone studies at Bangor University. Her research interests include adaptation from/into bande dessinée, literature, film and theatre; theories of ‘voice’ across media; audio-visuality; intermediality; and Brittany in comics. She has published on these topics in European Comic Art, Studies in Comics, Studies in French Cinema and Modern Languages Open. Her monograph, Adapted Voices: Transpositions of Céline’s ‘Voyage au bout de la nuit’ and Queneau’s ‘Zazie dans le métro’, was published by Legenda in 2015. She is review co-editor for European Comic Art.
