Arthi Devarajan
Arthi Devarajan received her Ph.D. in Religions of West and South Asia in 2010 from Emory University (Atlanta, Georgia, United States). Her scholarly methods include work in ethnography, narrative analysis and performance analysis to explore immigrant religious practices in the United States. Her research interests focus on South Asian performative, kinaesthetic and non-discursive forms of knowledge transmission as modes of religious practice and education. Currently, she lives in Boston, Massachusetts, and is a visiting assistant professor of South Asian Religions at Northeastern University.
