Arturo Rivas

Arturo Rivas is a philosopher and teaching assistant at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, where he is also a researcher of the Peruvian Circle of Phenomenology and Hermeneutics and the Research Group in Art and Aesthetics. He is also a member of the Latin American Circle of Phenomenology. He has co-authored the book La Locura de las Musas, a study on the imagination and artistic creation in patients with schizophrenia at the Larco Herrera Hospital (2014), and other academic articles. He mainly works on topics of epistemology and aesthetics, especially phenomenology of music, as well as on Greek poetry and philosophy, German Romanticism and the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche.
