Ashley M. Pribyl
Dr Ashley M. Pribyl is a visiting assistant professor of music and theatre history at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Her current book project, Company: Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality through an American Musical (forthcoming), has received funding from the New York Public Library and the Society for American Music. She holds a Ph.D in musicology from Washington University in St Louis, where she was a Harvey fellow in American culture studies. Her research focuses on works involving Stephen Sondheim, issues of collaboration in the American musical and representations of gender and sexuality in popular culture.
