Ashton Kohl Arnoldy
Ashton Kohl Arnoldy is a Ph.D. student in the Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness programme at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California. His dissertation research is focused on explicating the epistemological basis of the philosopher Owen Barfield’s take on the history of consciousness. His aim is to bring Barfield’s insights into fruitful dialogue with contemporary critics of metanarratives, colonialism and developmental models. He also creates aesthetic translations of his philosophical thought through a multimedia art project called ‘Also Known As’.
