Asta Kuusinen
Asta Kuusinen is a senior lecturer in art education at the University of Eastern Finland. She earned an MFA from the University of New Mexico and a doctorate from the University of Helsinki. Her Ph.D. dissertation in North American Studies analyses the works of the Chicana art photographers Laura Aguilar, Celia Álvarez Muñoz, Delilah Montoya and Kathy Vargas. Her international publications include ‘Relate North 2014: Engagement, art and representation’ in Studies in Art Education.
