Astrid Erll
Astrid Erll is Professor of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures at Goethe University Frankfurt (Germany). Her research interests are cultural memory, narratology, media theories and intermediality, nineteenth and twentieth-century literatures and cultures (World War I, British imperialism, postcolonialism). Publications include Mediation, Remediation and the Dynamics of Cultural Memory (edited with A. Rigney, 2009), A Companion to Cultural Memory Studies (edited with A. Nünning, 2010) and Memory in Culture (2011).
