Attilio Petruccioli
Attilio Petruccioli is Professor Emeritus of landscape architecture in the faculty of Architecture and Construction, University of Rome, La Sapienza. He was a professor and director of the Aga Khan Program for Islamic Architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University (1994–98), and professor of landscape architecture, and dean and director of the department of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy (1998–2012). He has written many books and articles on Islamic architecture, including After Amnesia. Learning from the Islamic Mediterranean Urban Fabric (Bari: Polytechnic University of Bari, 2007).
