Audra Diers-Lawson
Audra Diers-Lawson (Ph.D., 2006, University of Texas at Austin) is an associate professor in the School of Communication, Leadership and Marketing at Kristiania University College in Oslo, Norway. She is the editor of the Journal of International Crisis and Risk Communication Research and the crisis section chair for the European Communication Research and Education Association. She is the author of Crisis Communication: Managing Stakeholder Relationships (Routledge, 2020) and co-editor for the forthcoming book Pandemic Communication (Routledge, 2023). Her research focuses on the stakeholder perspective and the intersection of risk and crisis communication. She also collaborates with the World Health Organization’s Risk Communication and Community Engagement tactical action group.
