Ayelet Kohn

Ayelet Kohn holds a Ph.D. and an MA in mass communication, a BA in comparative literature and Far Eastern studies, and an MA in non-profit and community organization management, all from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Her research focuses on multimodality in media texts. She has published in Visual Communication; Visual Studies; Journal of Language and Politics; Computers in Human Behaviour; Jewish Quarterly Review; Journal of Israeli History; Social Semiotics; Convergence and more. Her book Translating the Visual – A Multimodal Perspective (with Rachel Weissbrod) was published by Routledge in 2019.
