Barbara Corsi
Barbara Corsi is a researcher on the project ‘Modi, memorie e culture della produzione cinematografica italiana (1949–1976)’ coordinated by Mariapia Comand of the University of Udine, after having taken part in the project ‘Producers and Production Practices in the History of Italian Cinema (1949-1975)’ coordinated by Stephen Gundle of Warwick University. Her research activity focuses on the history of the Italian film industry as concerns production, distribution and market. She has worked at ANICA’s (Associazione Nazionale Industrie Cinematografiche ed Audiovisive [National Association of Film and Audiovisual Industry]) Italian Cinema Archives, has written articles in international journals, chapters in edited books, biographical entries (Dizionario Biografico degli Italiani Treccani 2011, 2015), as well as two monographs, Produzione e produttori (Il Castoro, 2012) and Con qualche dollaro in meno (Editori Riuniti, 2001).
