Barbara Korte

Barbara Korte works on British literature and culture from the Victorian period to the present, with a strong interest in media-centred approaches. She is a member of the Freiburg Collaborative Research Centre ‘Heroes – Heroizations – Heroisms’ (SFB 948) and in this context has co-edited two collections of articles: Heroes and Heroism in British Fiction Since 1800: Case Studies (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017) and Heroism as a Global Phenomenon in Contemporary Culture (Routledge, 2019).
