Bart Beaty
Bart Beaty is the author, editor and translator of more than twenty books in the field of comics studies, including Twelve-Cent Archie (Rutgers University Press, 2015) and Comics versus Art (University of Toronto Press, 2012). His most recent work, co-edited with Charles Hatfield, is Comics Studies: A Guidebook (Rutgers University Press, 2020). He is the principal investigator on the What Were Comics? project (
