Bartomeu Serra Cifre
Bartomeu Serra Cifre holds a Master in Physics (Electronics) by Universidad de Navarra, and graduated number one in his class of 1976. He also has a Ph.D. in Physics, by Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) awarded in 1984. He is a Full Professor of the Universitat de les Illes Balears. In 1984 he founded and served as the director until 2003 the Computer Center of the University of Balearic Islands. He is a member of different technical committees (Sa Nostra, EMISA, IMI, IBIT, SPRITEL, UPNA). Dr Serra is also founder and Counsellor of the first spinoff issued from the UIB: IBITEC, which is dedicated to the R,D&I. and is also President of the International Learning (INLEA) Foundation
