Beatrice Fuga
Beatrice Fuga started her academic career at the University of Ca’ Foscari and completed a philosophy degree at the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne. She finished her master’s degree in anglophone studies in 2019 and obtained a funded Ph.D. in English literature and civilization at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle. Her research revolves around the reception of Italian novelle in early modern England and the role of translation in cultural and political relationships between Italy, France and England. She is a member of the research programme Corpus Feminae founded by the Sorbonne Nouvelle and of the Paris Early Modern Seminar (PEMS).
