Ben Whyman

Ben Whyman is manager of the Centre for Fashion Curation, based at the University of the Arts London. He is an experienced researcher and writer, and project manager of fashion exhibitions and publications. He researched for the Chloé. Attitudes exhibition (Paris 2012), project managed the Anna Piaggi inventory project (Milan 2013), and managed sections of the archive museum for Louis Vuitton at Asnieres in 2014–15. Ben project-managed the exhibition Coco Chanel: A New Portrait by Marion Pike. 1967–71 (2013–14), as well as writing for the catalogue. He has recently written for The House of Worth: Portrait of an Archive (2014), London Couture 1923–1975: British Luxury (2015) and the Archivist magazine (2016). He is currently working towards a Ph.D. focusing on menswear, material culture and biography, exploring the biography of men’s clothing.
