Bendi Tso

Bendi Tso completed a Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language from Pennsylvania State University and a second Masters in Anthropology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology at the University of British Columbia. Her research interests include oral tradition documentation, language revitalization, and linguistic identity. Her current research examines Chone Tibetans’ language practice and language ideology in relation to their identity formation and social imaginary.
