Benjamin Perasović
Benjamin Perasović (b. 1963) is senior Research Associate at the Institute for Social Sciences ‘Ivo Pilar’ in Zagreb, Croatia. He also teaches sociology of sport at the Kinesiological Faculty at the University of Zagreb and sociology of youth subcultures at the Croatian Studies at the University of Zagreb. He has published a book and many articles on youth subcultures, social movements and sociology of sport. Currently he is a member of the ‘Post-Socialist Punk’ research team and Croatian team leader of the EU-funded ‘MYPLACE’ international research project on memory, youth and civic engagement.
