Beril Sarisakal
Beril Sarısakal is a Ph.D. student in architecture at Columbia University. She holds a master’s degree in architectural history from Istanbul Technical University in Turkey. Her research interests include architectural historiography of the late Ottoman and early Turkish Republican periods in relation to medicine, war, and trauma.
