Bernadine Jones
Bernadine Jones is a lecturer in journalism at the University of Stirling. As co-founder of the Visual Rhetoric/Media Semiotics research group, her interests lie in social semiotics, visual analysis, multimodal discourse methodology and television news. Her research converges at the intersection of media, politics and representation. She has written on the visual and social semiotics of television news election coverage, governmental COVID-19 visual communication and the profession of journalism in Africa.
